查了一下wiki...

The patent was issued on 7 October 1952 as US Patent 2,612,994. In 1951 Woodland and Johanson moved to IBM and continually tried to interest IBM in developing the system.

如同NOWnews所說, Oct. 7 是紀念條碼發明的專利正式通過日! 這對我們來說真是個便利且了不起的發明阿~
